Things I wish I knew before starting the LPC

Hi friends!

I have recently finished the first year of the LPC, which stands for Legal Practice Course. The LPC is a course which aspiring lawyers must take on their journey to becoming qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales - if they are taking the ‘training contract route’. There are several different routes to qualifying, so not everyone will do the LPC before qualifying, however this is the route that I am currently taking and I will be starting my training contract in August 2021 - exactly one more year to go!

In this video, I have outlined all the things that I WISH I knew before starting the LPC. I graduated from my law degree (LLB) in 2012 and so when I started the LPC in September 2020 I had been out of the education system for many years. I was anxious about what to expect, and I would have loved to watch a video like this before I got started with the course.

I hope you find this video helpful! Please leave me a comment if there is any other law careers related content that you would like to see from me.

Have a lovely day and I will see you in the next one!
